1. Overviews
1.1 If you are a consumer, i.e., you do not purchase our products as part of your commercial or professional activity, you are entitled to a two-year limited warranty against material and workmanship defects from the date of delivery. The aforementioned warranty period applies within the European Union (with the exception of Malta, Cyprus, Great Britain, and Switzerland). These warranty terms apply only to purchases made directly in our online shop EAZION-DE. If you purchased the products at your local store, from a retailer, or a dealer, please inquire there regarding the warranty terms applicable to you.
1.2 The 2-year limited warranty covers electronic components (where applicable) and non-wear parts such as the motor, fork, frame, etc. The battery warranty is 1 year.
1.3 The warranty does not cover: consumables, non-original or unauthorized components and parts, normal wear and tear of covered components, damage or defects to covered components due to failure to follow instructions in the user manual, force majeure, accident, theft, vandalism, abuse, neglect, misuse, commercial use, alterations, modifications, improper assembly, incorrect assembly or installation of the product or parts thereof by the user/consumer, operator error, water damage, extreme driving, stunt driving, or improper/unauthorized maintenance and service. Regarding the battery, the warranty furthermore does not cover damage from power surges, use of an unsuitable charger, improper maintenance or other such abuse, normal wear and tear or water damage, or improper storage (below -20°C or above +45°C). Wear parts are not covered by the 1-year warranty, but we still offer support for these components if necessary for a reasonable fee.
1.4 This product warranty expressly does not cover problems resulting from modifications or conversions to the product, particularly through the use of third-party apps to change or adjust the motor control. It is important to know that even a single modification can lead to damage. Should such modifications cause problems in other parts of the bicycle, including the hardware, these are likewise not covered by this warranty.
1.5 This product warranty does not apply to products that do not bear the EAZION brand, even if they are packaged or sold with the clause "Suitable for EAZION E-Bikes," but not limited thereto. For products from manufacturers other than EAZION, a manufacturer's warranty may apply. Further information can be found in the product packaging and product documentation.

2. Process
2.1 To initiate the warranty process, you must contact and inform EAZION customer service. We may ask you to provide proof of purchase and a description of the problem as detailed as possible, as well as photo and/or video material if possible. Please note that for your safety, you should stop using the products until the problem is fully resolved. Injuries or further damage resulting from the use of the damaged product for which the warranty process has been initiated are the responsibility of the consumer.
2.2 EAZION customer service will be happy to advise you on solving your problem. Depending on your situation, the following remedial measures may be considered at EAZION's discretion:
2.2.1. We guide you through performing simple repairs;
2.2.2. We direct you to one of the official service points;
2.2.3. We transport the product(s) back to EAZION for processing.
2.3 Please note that for warranty claims, you should always contact EAZION and obtain our prior notification and approval before taking further steps. Unauthorized repairs complicate our ability to inspect the defect and decide whether it falls under the warranty. The warranty expires if you or a third party attempt to repair the product(s) without prior notification and approval from EAZION. Repairs of the product(s) by third parties without our prior approval will not be reimbursed by EAZION.
3. Important Note
3.1 Like any physical activity, cycling can lead to minor or serious injuries or discomfort and can aggravate or complicate existing complaints or conditions. By choosing an EAZION bicycle, the customer assumes full responsibility and risk for all such injuries or other discomforts.
3.2 By purchasing the product from EAZION, the consumer acknowledges that operating the bicycle involves inherent risks, hazards, and dangers, including but not limited to traffic conditions, weather conditions, road and sidewalk conditions, natural and unnatural objects and obstacles, impacts or collisions, as well as the negligence of others. The consumer acknowledges and agrees that their liability is limited as provided in this section. The consumer indemnifies the customer or third parties from all costs, expenses, and liabilities (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from the consumer's use of the bicycle. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, unless expressly stated otherwise herein, the consumer assumes all risks and liability for any loss, damage, or injury, including death of persons or property of the consumer or others, arising from the possession, use, operation, or care and control of the bicycle by the customer, including but not limited to all medical costs and financial and economic losses.
